Senior RMS Engineer Recruitment :
A.P. Road Development corporation invites application for the posts stated above on contract basis for a period of 1 year.

1. Position Offered : Senior RMS Engineer
Qualification Needed :
Degree in Civil Engg. + Masters in Highway/Transportation Engineering
Preference will be given to MBA with above qualifications.
Or
MBA with work experience
Experience Needed :
Total Professional Experience: Min 8 years
Experience in Highway Projects: Minimum 5 years in pavement design and maintenance of highways Experience in Similar Capacity (Road Management System/Asset Management System/Master Plan)
(i) Number of projects in designing and establishing a Road Management System: 1 project
(ii) Number of projects collecting inventory and road condition data (for using an RMS either for feasibility studies or for planning purposes): 1 project
Age Limit: 50 years

The candidate shall have 8 years of professional experience with strong background of Highway Engineering with about 5 years’ experience in computerized pavement management system based on HDM or similar system. He should have working knowledge of Transport Economics.

He must have firsthand experience of road management using computerized system and shall be knowledgeable of GIS. He shall have knowledge of Engineering surveys like inventory and condition survey, FWD, CD and Traffic surveys etc.

Role Description : Help in all issues pertaining to AP Road Management System as and when needed. Salary : Commensurate with experience as per Government guidelines in vogue.
Terms of Employment :
The recruitment will be initially on contract basis for a period of 1 year, and is likely to be extended

2. Position Offered : Young Professional/ Mid level consultant
Qualification Needed :
MBA from a Tier 1/ 2 institute with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT sector
OR
Bachelor/Masters degree in Electronics/ Communication/Computer Engineer with 8 to 10 years experience in IT sector.
Role Description :
The professional/consultant will be responsible for IT initiatives in the APRDC/R&B Department. He/ She will be responsible for studying the IT requirements of the department, and for improving upon existing IT modules. The professional/consultant may also be asked to:
1. Review the storyboard; develop tools & other functionalities, for different IT initiatives in the department such as departmental websites, dashboards, e-office etc.
2. Study the department’s portal on the CM Dashboard, suggest and implement real time dashboards with the necessary changes in the existing dashboard, as well as co-ordinate with different stakeholders in the department for ensuring timely update of the department’s data onto the dashboard
3. Help in all issues pertaining to AP Road Management System as and when needed
4. Co-ordinate and develop action plans for IT cells and other field units within the department
5. Be the department’s interface whenever IT requirements are outsourced to third parties
6. Supervise and undertake training of engineers/staff for onboarding onto new systems
