I2c (Inter Integrated Circuit) is a two-wire serial bus protocol developed by Phillips.
Two wires used- SDA (serial data line), SCL (serial clock line).

I2c bus protocol avoids data loss, confusion and information blockage while allowing peripheral ic’s to communicate.
Provides upto 10-bit addressing with 3.4 Mbps data rate, multiple master/slave option with master/slave as transmitter/receiver.
