Heavy Vehicle Driver Recruitment :
ISRO invites applications for the posts of Light Vehicle Driver-A (LVD-A), Heavy Vehicle Driver-A (HVD-A) and Staff Car Driver-A (SCD-A) in the Level 2 of Pay Matrix of CCS (RP) Rules 2016 for posting at various DOS/ISRO Centres/Units as indicated below:

Post : LVD-A [Post No.1]
No. of Posts : 50
Educational Qualification : Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
Experience :
3 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver
Must possess valid LVD licence and Public Service Badge.

Post : HVD-A [Post No.2]
No. of Posts : 76
Educational Qualification : Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
Experience :
5 years experience, out of which 3 years as HVD
Must possess HVD licence and Public Service Badge

Post : SCD-A [Post No. 3]
No. of Posts : 02
Educational Qualification : Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
Experience :
3 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver
Must possess valid LVD licence and Public Service Badge

How to apply:
The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 08.08.2017 and 28.08.2017 Candidates may visit our web-site at isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 08.08.2017 and 28.08.2017

The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit ISRO website and follow the application procedure as stated. Applications will be received on-line only.

Scanned copies of latest passport sized Photograph and Signature of the candidates in the prescribed file size is required to be uploaded in the application. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.

E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily. On successful submission of the application an email confirmation regarding submission shall be sent to the candidate’s registered email id. However, the completion of application procedure is subject to receipt of ‘application fee’ (if applicable).

The application is non-editable and details cannot be edited, once the application is registered. Hence, candidates are advised to verify whether, all the details entered in the application are correct, before final submission of the application.

Applications for Multiple Posts:
Candidates may apply for multiple posts, subject to conditions. A candidate may apply for different posts under same/different zones, but cannot apply for same post in different zones.

For Ex : A candidate may apply for Post No. 1(LVD-A) in Ahmedabad Zone, Post No.2 (HVD-A) in Hyderabad Zone and Post No 3 (SCD-A) under Dept. of Space. However, he/she cannot apply for Post No. 1 (LVD-A) in Ahmedabad Zone and again Post No. 1 (LVD-A) under Hyderabad.

However, such candidates should select common (same) written test centre for all the posts applied for. Candidates have to make application fee payment separately for applications for different posts.

Application Fee:
There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. Candidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card or ‘Offline’ by visiting nearest SBI Branch.

Process for application fee payment :
The process followed for each case is shown below:
(1)If candidate desires to pay application fee immediately then he/she on submitting application will be shown a web page displaying registration number. On same web page, there exists “Make Payment” button which candidate may click and follow the payment process as outlined below

(2) If the candidate wants to pay application fee later, he/she can pay the fee before closure of the advertisement by accessing the link “Make Payment” link available in advertisement page. Candidate has to provide his/her registration number, Date of Birth and later click on the “Make Payment” button and follow the payment process as outlined below
1. Net Banking / State Bank of India
2. Net Banking /Other Banks
3. Debit Card / State Bank of India
4. Debit Card /Other Banks
5. Credit Card / State Bank of India
6. Credit Card /Other Banks
7. Pre-printed SBI Challan

(Candidates should download, print and pay the application fees in cash at any SBI Branch within 3 days of generation of challan or last day for payment, whichever is earlier) The challan will be valid for the next three days only, from date of generation.

If payment is not made within 3 days the challans, which are older than the specified time will be deemed unsuccessful. However, the candidate may regenerate fresh challan, if required or alternatively, make payment online payment.
