Project Assistant, Fitter Recruitment :
The Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, on behalf of the sponsors of the Projects, is interested to engage “Project Assistant-II” and “Fitter” for various time-bound projects in different schemes.
The eligibility criterion are as follows:

Essential Qualification :
Essential: M.Sc. Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic/Physical) with 55% marks
Desirable: NET qualified
Age Limit (as on date of walk-ininterview/ Trade Test) : 30 Years
Post Code/ Position : Post Code-2 Junior Research Fellow
No of Positions : 03
Essential Qualification : Essential: M.Sc. Chemistry with 55% marks and GATE qualified
Age Limit (as on date of walk-in-interview/ Trade Test) : 30 Years
Post Code/ Position : Post Code – 3 FITTER
No of Positions : 01
Essential Qualification : I.T.I. in Fitter Trade with NCVT/SCVT certificate of two years duration
Age Limit (as on date of walk-in-interview/ Trade Test) : 28 Years
General Conditions:
1. Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the duration of the Project/desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
2. The Project Staff once recruited can move to higher level based on experience and/or acquiring qualification of higher level. Minimum residency period of Project Assistant-II at a given level shall be of 2 years for moving to higher level, but not more than 3 years at the same level.
The tenure of Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration.
Any extension beyond two years/movement from one level to next shall be subject to performance reviews by a committee. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that any one not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
3. All these positions are temporary and are on behalf of the sponsor of the projects and therefore will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post in IIP/CSIR.
4. On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
5. Facility of Ph.D. registration shall be allowed as per Rules.
6. Whereever possible accommodation will be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will be paid as per rules. If accommodation provided, the licence fee would be deducted as per CSIR rules.
7. The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility as per the existing rules.
8. The Institute provides canteen facilities as is being provided for regular staff members on payment of suitable charges.
9. Final semester and results awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for Walk-In-Interview.
10. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
11. Number of positions may vary depending upon the Project requirements.
Note:
Eligible and interested Indian National candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview on 04.09.2017 at the reception of the Institute alongwith duly filled-in application form, which may be downloaded from the Institute website iip.res.in supported by one set of self attested copies of certificates regarding
(i) Educational Qualification,
(ii) Age,
(iii) Category (in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates),
(iv) One latest passport size photograph,
(v) Experience certificate, if any; and
(vi) detailed biodata etc.
Original certificates are required for verification, which would be returned immediately on the same day after verification. Candidates have option to reply in Hindi during the interview. The Panel of the Project Assistant-II and FITTER may be prepared for future requirements, if any, or for up-coming projects.
Selection is to be done on the basis of walk-in-Interview, however, written exam and Trade Test may be conducted for screening if large number of candidates appear. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification for the positions.
