Research Assistant Recruitment :
Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, NITI Aayog is looking to engage the services of 7 Research Assistants in NITI Aayog. The positions are to be filled on contract basis for a period of two years (extendable). Detail of the positions and terms & conditions for the engagement, eligibility, experience, etc. are as under:-
Name of post : Research Assistants
Number of posts : 7 (Seven)
Method of recruitment : Short-term Contract
Period of Contract : 2 years (extendable) or till the period the post is filled up on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
Essential Educational Qualification :
1. Master’s Degree in any discipline; or
2. Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Part “A” and “B” of Associate Member of Institute of Engineering (AMIE); or
3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (2 years)
Desirable Education Qualification :
1. Doctorate in any discipline; or
2. Master’s degree in engineering
Experience: Minimum 4 years’ or more post-qualification experience (candidates having Ph.D, a period of 2 years out of 3 years’ regular Ph.D course will be counted as a period of working experience provided no work experience is counted during those 3 years). Experience in programme monitoring/evaluation or Project Appraisal or programme/policy research would be an added advantage.
Age limit : 28-40 years (as on the closing date of advertisement)
Remuneration (per month) : Consolidated remuneration ranging from Rs.1.00 lakh – Rs. 1.25 lakh

The other terms and conditions of engagement of Research Assistants will be as per sub-para 3(i), 3(iii), 3(xi), 3(xiii), 3(xiv), 3(xviii) 3(xix), 3(xx) and 3(xxi) of NITI Aayog order No.A-12013/08/2013-Adm.I(Vol.II) dated 17.08.2016 available on the websites of niti.gov.in.

DMEO, NITI Aayog has the right to terminate the contract at any time, without assigning any reason.
