PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Railway Reservation System prototype was developed as a part of partial fulfillment of BE degree in Information Technology. The project was developed to demonstrate the benefits of computerization in social activities. The project intended to create a simple user interface using which the users could book tickets, know the details of trains as well as cancel the reservation. The project was designed using Microsoft visual studio 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on Windows platform.

As the group leader, the requirements were analyzed and discussed with the team members. Each phase in the life cycle was divided objectively. Major part of the work included design, coding and testing.
