Section Engineer Recruitment :
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bangalore.

BMRCL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for appointment to the post of “Section Engineer” for the Electrical Division in the Project Wing. All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only.

The maximum age limit for the post of Section Engineer is 35 years.

Name of Post : Section Engineer (Rolling Stock)

Minimum Educational Qualification : Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Mechatronics
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Rolling Stock in Railways/ Metro Railway Metro Train production units/ Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical equipment in Railway / Public sector or private sector production units.

Name of Post : Section Engineer (Traction)

Minimum Educational Qualification : Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Railway / Metro Rail Electrification works / traction power supply system/ third rail and SCADA System etc. from Railways / Public sector or private sector preferred

Minimum Educational Qualification : Engineering degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in construction project supervision viz. viaduct, UG tunneling, stations and other related activities such as quality control, quantity survey etc. in large infrastructure / Railway / Metro Rail construction projects preferred

Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in designing of infrastructure project and various systems in Railways / Metro Railways / public sectors / Engineering construction company/ Engineering consultancy company preferred. Candidates should be well conversant with Computer Aided Design / Analysis environment.

Name of Post : Section Engineer (E&M, Lifts & Escalator)

Minimum Educational Qualification : Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Electrification project, General and E&M services including Lifts & Escalator system erection, testing & commissioning, site supervision, inspection etc. Candidates with hands on experience in Lift/ Escalators, E&M services.

Name of Post : Section Engineer (TVS & ECS)

Minimum Educational Qualification : Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders with hands on experience in E&M and building services works, including site supervision, inspection, testing & Commissioning. Candidates with experience of E&M/TVS/ECS in modern Metro Rail System shall be preferred.
