Field Assistant Recruitment :
Walk-in-Interview will be held on July 21, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Seminar Room of the Division of Plant Biology, Centenary Campus, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T Scheme VII-M, Kolkata 700 054 for one (01) post of ‘Field Assistant” in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Development of High Yielding, Non lodging and Biotic Resistant Varieties of Black Scented Rice of Manipur and Joha Rice of Assam through Biotechnological Intervention”, under the guidance of Prof. Debabrata Basu, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 18.10.2019.
Details of qualification, pay, age etc. are as follows :
Essential Qualificaiton : B.Sc. with 2-3 years working experience in field condition for handling crop plants in a reputed organization.
Consolidated pay : Rs. 5,000/- p.m. (fixed).
Age : Upto 30 years.

Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one temporary position of Junior Research Assistant in the DBT(Govt. of W.B.) sponsored project entitled “Genome wide transcriptome analysis to identity MYMIV-stress related genomic resources of blackgram” under the joint supervision of Prof. Amita Pal, UGC-Emeritus Scientist (P.I) and Dr. Pallob Kundu (Co-P.I.), Division of Plant Biology.
The project is tenable upto 30.08.2019. Details of qualification, consolidated pay, age etc. are as follows:

Essential Qualification :
Good academic records throughout the career. B.Sc. and M.Sc. either in Botany, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Biological Sciences.
Must have good practical hand, this should be certified by two Senior/reputed PG teachers on a scale of 10. Preference will be given to those who already have some research experience (for at least 2 months)
Consolidated pay : Rs. 16,400/- p.m.
Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules).
