Job Description
- Carry out Die Maintenance activities to the required standards to reduce and eliminate Die down time in cycle run.
- Carry out the machining activities in the tool room as and when required.
- Carry out engineering changes if any on time and to the right accuracy.
- Carry out line flow die maintenance activities on time and detailed recording of issues in “Last Hit Panel Sign off Sheet”.
- Carry out PM activities as per schedule.
- Handle the dies/ crane carefully. Be very careful while turning over the dies.
- Proper handling of dies, die parts, tool room machines, welding equipments, hand tools and measuring equipment's.
- Proper identification of stage panels in Tool Room and Die Maintenance Area.
- Keep the hand tools and measuring equipment's in the predetermined place.
- Using the right PPE and follow all the safety regulations of the company.
- Use of Proper ECPL principles including proper application of Personal danger tags, Equipment caution tags and ECPL locks.
- Carrying out the "Last hit issues " fixing
- Update/close Last hit sign off sheet and TEM work order after completion of work.
- Proper storage of Die Spares and die drawings.
- Proper maintenance and controlled use of consumable.
- Proper house keeping of Die Maintenance Area and Tool Room
- Proper communication among shift people on the pending tasks / caution to be taken.
