Teacher Recruitment :
Walk-in-interview for Engaging Teachers on Contract Basis, in AEC Schools – Kalpakkam / Anupuram for the academic year 2017-2018.

Reporting Time: 9:00 a.m.
Venue: AECS-1, Kalpakkam.

A written test and skill test will be conducted for engaging teachers on contract basis against the existing regular and leave vacancies that may arise during the year 2017-2018 in the following categories.

Educational and other qualifications :
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Post :
Essential :
(i)Three years Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / Institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects / combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.
OR
Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / Institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects / combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.

(i)The candidate should possess the professional qualifications of B.Ed. as on date of interview.
(ii)Proficiency in teaching in English Medium (except for TGT(Hindi/Sanskrit)

Desirable : Working knowledge of Computer
The candidates with professional qualifications of Special B.Ed. or D.Ed. or Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for the post of TGT

Primary Teacher (PRT) :
Essential:
(i)Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / Institution’s norms)
OR
Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / Institution’s norms).

(ii)English as a subject in Class XII is mandatory.
(iii)Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

The candidate should possess two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Eduation (B.El.Ed.)

Desirable : Working knowledge of Computer

MODE OF SELECTION: Selection involves Written Test & Skill Test.
(i)Written test – The screening shall be made through objective type (MCQs) examination pattern of 50 marks in the respective subject for 1½ hour. Candidates scoring 50% or above (General) and 45% or above (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will be considered for Interview.
(ii)Skill Test – For the candidates short-listed on the basis of written test.

General Instructions :
1. Candidate must submit application along with the complete bio-data giving details of age, qualification, experience and address for correspondence with contact numbers, e-mail id and a passport size photograph before the written test. A set of attested photocopies of all mark sheets and certificates must be attached with each of the application.

2. Candidates must bring the original certificates on the said date. Otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the written test.
3. Candidates must submit separate applications for each post, if applying for more than one post.
4. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the written test and interview for the candidates.
5. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
