Office Assistant Recruitment :
Applications are invited for the Temporary post of Office Assistant in SPS under "UGC-DSA-II (SAP-I)" funded by University Grant Commission.

The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, for period (from the date of appointment) upto 31st March, 2019 or till his/her services are required in the project or till the validity of the project, whichever is earlier.

Office Assistant: 01 (One) post (Temporary)
Essential Qualifications: 10th Pass and above.
Experience: One year six months experience in the relevant field.
Age: 35 years as on 31st July, 2017.
Salary : INR 13,350/- per month (consolidated)

Applications are invited for ONE Senior Research Fellow and ONE Laboratory Assistant in an ICMR funded project entitled "Investigations on differential expression of ubiquitin proteasome pathway genes during stage conversion in Entamoeba species" in the laboratory of the undersigned.

The details of the available positions are given below:
Senior Research Fellow: One post
Salary: Rs.28,000/- per month + 30% HRA

Essential Qualifications :
Masters degree or equivalent in Life-Sciences/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry or any other related area with minimum 60% marks and a strong academic performance since high school. The candidates should have at least 2 years research experience. JRF-NET qualified candidates will be preferred.

Desirable: Experience in animal cell-culture, basic molecular and cell biology techniques. Candidates with a background in working with Entamoeba or any other parasite will be given a preference.

Laboratory Assistant: One post
Salary: Rs.17,000/- per months fixed
Essential Qualifications: Graduate/Class XII with minimum 2 year(s) working experience respectively in a scientific/research laboratory.

Desirable:
Candidates should have a working knowledge of washing and preparation of glassware for autoclaving. Candidates with experience in operating Excel and WORD programs and handling office records and purchases will be given preference.

The positions are completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. JNU reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
