Nursing Assistant Recruitment :
Applications are invited for the following posts in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore – 641 003.

Name of the Post : Staff Nurse
Number of vacancies : 5
Scale of Pay : PB-2: Rs.9300 – 34800 + G.P. Rs.4450
Educational Qualification :
1. The candidate should have acquired the Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a Government / Government recognized institutions and permanently registered Tamil Nadu nurses registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Mid-wife council on before the date of this notification viz., 10.07.2017.
2. Passing the examination for Mid-wife conducted by the Institution approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and declared as a Registered Mid-wife.
3. Must have practical experience for a period of not less than two years in a Government Hospital or a Hospital of repute as a Nurse.
4. Must have passed Tamil in S.S.L.C. or equivalent examination.
5. Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Name of the Post : Pharmacist
Number of vacancies : 4
Scale of Pay : PB-2: Rs.9300 – 34800 + G.P. Rs.4200
Educational Qualification :
1. A pass in Plus two examination
2. A Diploma in Pharmacy
3. Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and must keep the registration alive by renewing it regularly every year.
4. Practical experience in the working of a Pharmacy approved by the State Pharmacy Council for a period of not less than five years.

Name of the Post : Nursing Assistant
Number of vacancies : 13
Scale of Pay : PB-1A: Rs.4800 – 10000+ G.P. Rs.1300
Educational Qualification :
1. Must have passed VIII Std. in a recognized school.
2. Must have passed the nursing assistant training course examination conducted by the Government Medical College Hospital of Tamil Nadu or other Institution recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu
3. Experience as Female / Male Nursing Assistant in a Government Hospital or in a Hospital of repute for a period of not less than one year.

Selection Process:
i.Selection will be made on the basis of written examination and Interview.
ii.Short listed candidate will be called for certificate verification and interview
iii.Final selection will be made subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. (Applicants should appear for the written examination, certificate verification and interview at their own expenses).

ii. by Registered post or in person and the envelope containing the applications should be superscribed on the left corner as "Application for the post of Staff Nurse / Pharmacist / Nursing Assistant" before 5.00 p.m. on 31.07.2017.

iii.Concession in the matter of fees allotted to SC, SC(A) and ST categories of person has to produce evidence for such claim.
iv.Separate application with Demand Draft should be submitted for each post

Last date for receipt of completed application is 31.07.2017 by 5.00 p.m.

Applications containing wrong claims relating to other basic qualifications / eligibility criteria / age / communal categories / educational qualification will be liable for rejection.
i. Candidates must be Indian Nationals
ii. Candidates who satisfy the conditions prescribed should appear for examination at their own cost.
iii. Short listed candidates will be called for interview based on the written examination and they should attend the interview at their own cost.
iv. The summoning of the candidate for interview conveys no assurance whatsoever that he / she will be recommended or selected or his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
v. TNAU reserves the right ethics to fill up (or) cancel the Notification published for recruit to the post of Staff Nurse / Pharmacist / Nursing Assistant.
vi. Any attempt by the candidate, either directly or indirectly to influence the Selection Committee or other authorities of the University will disqualify the candidate for the post.
vii. Candidates who are selected shall be liable for transfer to any other place within the jurisdiction of the University.
viii. The age of retirement is fifty eight years.
ix. The candidate should abide by the Act, Statutes and Regulations (ASR) of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
x. The application form shall be filled in, complete in all respects, giving correct information. Defective and incomplete applications and those with wrong or false information will be summarily rejected.
xi. Evidence of Degree / Community / Date of Birth / Nativity Certificate and other certificates and testimonials should be brought in original at the time of interview.
