ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALK-IN INTERVIEW ON 11/07/2017 FOR LIBRARY TRAINEE AT USOOB,PRL

PRL announces programme for Library Trainee (1 Trainee) for its Library at Udaipur Solar Observatory, Udaipur for one year.

Qualification: First Class Masters degree in Library and Information Science (Minimum 60% marks & above). Preference will be given to candidates who have pursued the degree as regular academic course.

Candidates appearing for final year exams (i.e. of 2017) for Masters degree in Library & Information Science may also apply. However, their final selection will be subject to declaration of final year result and meeting the advertised norms.

Stipend: Rs.15,000/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 26 years as on 30/06/2017; relaxation as per GOI rules.
There will be walk-in Interview on 11/07/2017.

Interested candidates are required to report at Main Gate, Udaipur Solar Observatory (Physical Research Laboratory), Dewali Badi Road, Udaipur – 313004 and complete registration between 09:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Candidates reporting after 11:30 a.m. will not be allowed to participate in walk-in-interview. A prima facie scrutiny of candidate’s eligibility will be done and only then eligible candidates will be allowed for interview.

All candidates willing to appear for walk-in interview should compulsorily download application form, from our website prl.res.in (-->Opportunities-->Job vacancies). The duly filled-in application form along with self attested copies of required documents as mentioned in the application format should be presented for scrutiny.

Photograph at earmarked place should be pasted. All the original & a set of photo copy of certificates pertaining to date of birth, educational qualification, experience (if any), caste or any other information provided in the application form, be brought and presented for verification.

Candidate appearing without application format as mentioned above/originals/copies of documents, Marks sheets/ candidates not fulfilling advertised norms, shall be summarily rejected. The decision taken by USOOB / PRL shall be final and binding on the candidates.

Candidates may note that the above positions are purely temporary and do not lead to permanent absorption of the candidates in the Laboratory. The candidates will not be treated on par with regular employees of USOOB / PRL and shall have no right to claim implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization.

Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Candidates, who have already availed/ are availing similar Traineeship at PRL / its observatories will not be allowed to participate in the walk-in interview.

Outstation candidates (outside Udaipur) who are short listed for interview shall be paid Traveling Allowance to and fro Railway Sleeper Class/ Ordinary Bus fare by the shortest route as indicated in the application format. Fare will be paid subject to production of railway /Bus ticket copies only.

USOOB / PRL reserves the right to cancel the walk-in interview process as announced. All efforts will be made to complete interviews of the eligible candidates screened-in through prima-facie scrutiny on 11/07/2017. However, if by any unforeseen reason, interviews are not completed on the same day, candidates may have to appear for interview next day i.e. 12/07/2017.

Candidates are advised not to bring any electronic gadgets/mobile/laptop/CDs/pen drive/camera etc while appearing for Registration.
