Name of the Positions : Medical Officer (MBBS)
Requisite Qualification & Experience : MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical College and Registered with Assam Medical Council/ Medical Council of India
Age : Up to 62 years
No. of Post : 53 nos.
Remuneration per month : Rs. 40,000/-
Name of the Positions : Medical Officer (Ayur)
Requisite Qualification & Experience : BAMS Degree from a recognized Ayurvedic College and registered with State Council of Indian Medicine, Assam
Age : Up to 62 years
No. of Post : 85 nos.
Remuneration per month : Rs. 30,500/-

The schedule of interview / selection test for the respective post will be published in the website nrhmassam.in in due course of time along with the list of provisionally shortlisted candidates. The vacancies may increase. All applicants are advised to visit the website accordingly.
No separate individual call letter for interview/ selection test will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/ selection test.
About us :
In Assam, NRHM was launched in 2005. Its introduction became necessary because our health indicators were poor. In 2005, before NRHM intervention 68 infants were dying out of every one thousand born and Maternal Mortality Ratio was also as high as 480 maternal deaths per one lakh live birth during 2004-06. The decadal population growth rate was also high as Total Fertility Rate was 2.9.
