Senior Research Fellow Recruitment :
A walk-in interview will be held on 19.07.2017 at 10.30 am for the selection of Senior Research Fellow – SRF (Temporary post) for the ICAR-NAARM Project on “Technology Enhanced Learning in Agricultural Education (TELAgE)” under Niche Area of Excellence (NAE), being implemented at the Department of Animal Husbandry Statistics and Computer Applications, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai.

Duration : Till December 2017 (Tentatively)
Pay : Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Qualification :
** ME(Computer Science) or MTech (IT) or MSc (IT) or MCA with minimum 60% marks from recognized University as regular student

** Minimum two years of experience in Multimedia content development/Video editing in AVID Media Composer and E-learning (free and open-source software LMS)/ Webbased technologies (preferably open source) as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Other engagements is essential. (Relaxable for exceptionally qualified candidates)

Desirable : Proven record of writing skills either in the form of books, bulletins, etc.

The appointment is PURELY TEMPORARY AND NEED BASED. Further, they should not claim any regular employment at later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.

The seed for the establishment and growth of TANUVAS was sown as early as 1876, when the Madras Veterinary College was started as an Agricultural School in Chennai to offer diploma and certificate course in the field of veterinary and animal sciences.
