INSTRUCTIONS :
** Examinations will be of objective type with 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question carries 0.7 mark. No negative marking. Questions will be covered from PG Syllabus.

** A Computer Coded Answer Sheet (CCAS) will be provided for marking the answers. Don’t shade any answer against anything on between 51 and 100. The CCAS should be filled carefully using Blue or Black Ball point pen only. (Do not use ink pens, gel pens and pencils). Multiple shading will not be awarded any marks.

** Bring any one Photo Identity Card issued by the institution you studied, or State or Central Government, such as License, Pan Card, Voter ID, Aaadhaar Card, etc.

** This exam is only for the eligibility requirement to apply for M. hil. / Ph.D. programmes in Bharathiar University. A Separate application along with the score of this CET needs to be submitted for seeking admission to M.Phil. / Ph.D. programs offered at the Departments of Bharathiar University / Departments of Affiliated Colleges / Recognized Research Institutions of Bharathiar University.

** You are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.

** No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before 12.30 p.m. Candidates should remain in the examination hall for the entire duration of the examination.

About us :
The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamilnadu in February, 1982 under the provision of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras, which was functioning in Coimbatore before 1982 formed the core of the Bharathiar University.
