All India Common Entrance Test :
Admission into Craft Instructor Training courses will be made through All India Common Entrance Test (AICET-2017) which is scheduled to be held on 12.08.2017

The AICET-2017 common entrance test will be conducted through PEN and PAPER based Exam (OMR based - Duration: 2 Hrs, objective type questions [multiple-choice] in which 75% related to the trade applied - ITI level and 25% questions pertaining to Aptitude - Logical, Numeric and Reasoning) which will be held at 30 centres across the country.

These courses are offered by Central Institutes under DGT like ATI’s, FTI’s, RVTI’s and Pvt IToT's to fulfill the objective of uplifting and upgrading the training standard of existing serving instructors of ITIs and Industry as well as those who aspire to become successful instructor in future in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI’s).

Admissions in Private IToTs will also be made through this entrance test only.

Applications are invited through ONLINE only from the eligible candidates who wish to pursue the aspiring carrier as a ‘Vocational Instructor’ in Industrial Training Institute's (I.T.I's) across the country.

Admission for the CITS course in all the institutes will be filled through central counseling based on the entrance marks ranking and the reservation policy of the Government of India.

Last Date for the receipt of online application to appear in the All India common entrance exam will be 26th JULY 2017 5.30 PM.

Online Registration available on or after 5th July 2017.

Please go through the following instructions carefully before proceeding for filling up the application form:
** Please refer to the section "How to Apply" under guidelines from the top menu. Application submitted through online mode does not imply that candidate has fulfilled all the eligibility criterion/ conditions.
** It will be sole responsibility of the candidate to satisfy whether he/she is meeting the prescribed criterion.
** The documents will be verified at the time of counseling and if it is found that the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criterion or has misrepresented/ suppressed the information, the application will be rejected.
** The applicants are requested to ensure their eligibility for the course being applied for.

Checklist: Document(s) to be kept handy before applying online
1. Credit card/ Debit card / Bank details.
2. Scanned Photograph along with Signature.

STEP 2: Uploading of scanned Photograph along with Signature and Qualification entry
STEP 3: Payment of application fee online

Instructions to the candidates:
1. The Application fees for General and all other candidates is Rs.300/ and Rs. 100/ for SC/ST candidates.
Fee will be collected through online payment mode only (Step 3) .
2. Any processing charges towards online payment plus service tax if any will have to be borne by the candidate.
3. Fee through demand draft, check, pay order, Challan, or any other mode will not be accepted.
4. Candidate has to fill all five choices of examination locations in order of preference.
5. Application fee once paid is nonrefundable.
6. Applicants must apply for only one course.
7. Examination will be Online.

8. Affix your recent colored passport size photograph (of size 3.5cm x 4.5cm) on a white paper and then sign with black pen in a box (of size 3.5cm x 1.5cm) below the photograph. Scan the above photo and signature and upload in the appropriate space provided in application form (JPG format of size not more than 50 KB).

9. Take the printout of acknowledgement slip bearing a reference number. This number should be referred to in all future correspondence.
10. Before uploading/ submitting application form the candidate should ensure that no relevant column of the application form should be left blank, otherwise application will be rejected.
11. Any request for change of address will not be entertained.
12. Incomplete/ incorrect application form will be rejected.
13. The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates at the time of counseling otherwise candidature shall be rejected.
14. DGT, MSDE will not be responsible in case of broken transaction during online payment process. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure the payment has been made successfully.
15. The application will be treated to be complete only if requisite fee has been paid. If a candidate is not able to submit fee by last date, his/ her candidature will be rejected.
