The candidates will not be issued letters for conduct of exam separately. The candidates would be able to download the Admit Card from the Board's website for the written test.
The examination centres shall be in compatibility with the no. of applications received and preferably shall be at Distt. or Sub divisional headquarters . The Board reserves the right to allot any examination centre to any candidate and no request for change of centre shall be entertained under any circumstances.
Syllabus :
The level of examination and syllabus for examination shall be in accordance with the minimum level of educational qualification criteria provided for the post. The minimum level of educational qualification for the post of Jr. Clerks is 10+2 with 50% marks. (As such the level of written examination and Syllabus shall be that of 10+2 standard of HP Board of School Education).
Total marks for Written Examination :
The written test/examination will be of multiple choice objective type for 85 marks .The set of question paper should be consisting of 4 parts carrying 25 marks in General knowledge (including HP General Knowledge), and 20 marks each in rest of 3 parts i.e. General English, General Hindi and Quantitative Aptitude (including maths & Reasoning).
Duration of written examination: 90 Minutes.
About us :
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 643.
The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C.
