The Directorate of Fisheries, A & N Administration provides facility for Tourists to engage in “Sports Fishing” activity throughout the year, in Selected Sailing routes. The Directorate of Fisheries issues “Permits” for Sports Fishing activities, based on requests received from Tourists on daily basis. The A & N Administration presently does not charge any amount for Tourists to do Sports Fishing.
** The Directorate of Fisheries has registered Fishing vessels (along with Owner details), for undertaking Sports Fishing activities. The interested tourists can approach the Owners in advance and book the Vessels directly from them by paying the charges.
The boat owner will then apply for “Permit” to Directorate of Fisheries along with all supporting documents. The Directorate will process the application and if found correct, issues the Permits to the boat owners.
