TSLAWCET & TSPGLCET :
A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test-2017 (TSLAWCET-2017) and Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test - 2017 (TSPGLCET-2017) will be conducted by the CONVENER,TSLAWCET/ TSPGLCET-2017, Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3Year / 5Year LL.B Regular Courses and LL.M. Courses in the Colleges of Law in Telangana for the academic year 2017-18.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR TSLAWCET - 2017 :
1. The Candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.
2. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
3. The candidates seeking admission:
For LLB 3 Year Course:
The Candidates for 3 year LL.B. should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination (10+2+3 pattern) recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned.
If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation he should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with 45%.
A Candidate appeared/appearing for the above qualifying examinations may also apply for TSLAWCET – 2017 (LL.B. 3 YDC) in anticipation of results. In case of such students, their admission shall be subject to the passing the qualifying examination and their securing eligible marks in the said qualifying examinations.
Note:
i) There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year Law course in favour of the Candidates belonging to SC / S.T. Category
ii) The percentage of 39.5% and above in aggregate in graduation in case of candidates belongs to SC/ST category and 44.5% and above in aggregate in graduation in case of candidates belongs other categories will be considered as 40% and 45% for admission in to LL.B 3 year course.
For LL.B 5 year course:
The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S.
A Candidate appeared/appearing for the above qualifying examinations may also apply for TSLAWCET – 2017 (LL.B. 5 YDC) in anticipation of results. In case of such students, their admission shall be subject to the passing the qualifying examination and their securing eligible marks in the said qualifying examinations.
Note:

4. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
5. Qualifying marks in TSLAWCET – 2017 is 35% (i.e., 42 Marks out of 120 marks) and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
6. Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into LL.B. 3/5 Year course unless the candidate:
i. Appears for counselling at the notified centers.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned.
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR TSPGLCET-2017 (for LL.M Courses) :
Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible.
However he/she should pass the examination at the time of counselling The Candidates seeking admission into LL.M. (Private Appearance) of Osmania University, Hyderabad shall have a minimum experience of 3-years as a judicial officer or 3-years standing as an advocate on the date of appearing for TSPGLCET-2017.
Mere appearance in TSLAWCET/TSPGLCET will not give any right of admission. The candidate should satisfy all the eligibility criteria and should satisfy rules governing admission as are applicable.
