Dil Hai Hindustani Voting:
These rules for voting (“Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on each viewer (“Viewer(s)”) , worldwide , as applicable (“Territory”) who voluntarily desire to participate in the Voting Mechanism (as defined hereunder of the program titled “ DIL HAI HINDUSTANI” (“Program”) produced by Star India Private Limited (“STAR India/Company ”) aired on STAR Plus (“Channel”).

Rules For Voting :
The following are the Principal Rules for Voting Mechanism (defined below) for the Program on the Channel conducted by STAR India:
1. The Program is a singing based reality program wherein contestants of between the age of 5(five)years and 35(thirty five) years (“Contestants”), across all over the world ,individually or along with a partner or as part of a group compete against each other by voluntarily participating and /or being part of various selection processes, auditions (on ground as well as digital) or levels of selection or format of the Program .

2. On the basis of their performance , caliber, singing techniques, screen presence, interaction with audience, overall personality, of the Contestants at every level /stage of the selection process of the Program, STAR India and/or the jury comprising of Karan Johar, Badshah, Shekhar Ravjiani and Shalmali Kholgade, who are the judge on the Program (“Jury”) shall at their sole discretion select and shortlist the final top 8(eight) Contestants (“Final Contestants”). These Final Contestants, the exact number of which shall not exceed 8(eight) shall thereinafter perform and compete against each other in the further upcoming televised episodes /rounds of the Program(“Final Rounds”).

3. It is clarified that the Final Rounds of the Program shall tentatively commence from March 11,2017 onwards
4. The Voting Mechanism (as detailed in clause 6) will open and end for the episodes of the Final Rounds of the Program, as detailed herein below, in the Territories (“Period”).During the Period / the Viewers in the Territories (“Viewers/Voters”) can through the Voting Mechanism vote for their favorite Final Contestant(s) and /or if they liked the performance of any particular Final Contestant and/or all Contestants.

6. The Voting Mechanism for the Period within each of the Territories is as provided below:
A. India

I. Missed Call:
(i) To vote the Viewers shall through their landlines/mobile numbers depending on their respective Territory from where they are participating , i.e India or international dial the unique number of the Final Contestants (s) for who they want to vote their and give them a missed call(“Vote”) through the Voting Mechanism .

(ii) The Votes of the Viewers through missed calls shall be deemed to be received only when subsequent to the Viewer giving a missed call, he/she will receive a voice message saying “Thank you for voting” For avoidance of doubt it is further clarified that the exact contents of such voice message or any brand association for the same and /or the right to decide whether or not to send such voice message shall vest with Star India only and the Viewers shall not in any manner be entitle to dispute such decision by Star India .

(iii) In the event that the voice message is not sent to the Viewer (s) due to a disruption in functionality and/or network, or a fault in the Voting Mechanism and the Vote of the Viewer (s) is not received, STAR India will not be held responsible for the same.

(iv) It is clarified that during the Period, each Viewer can give only 1(one) Vote by way of a missed call for a particular Final Contestant irrespective of whether it is through his /her international /national code from one landline/mobile number. However Viewer(s) shall be free to vote for multiple Final Contestants by way of missed calls simultaneously during the Period through a particular landline /mobile number.

In the event that any Viewer casts his /her Vote for the same Final Contestants through the same landline /mobile number irrespective of whether it is through his /her international /national code ,then only the first Vote cast through such missed call for that particular Final Contestants shall be taken into account and not the subsequent ones.

(v) Votes sent after the Period will not be considered and shall be deemed null and void without requirement of any further intimation by STAR India to the Viewer(s).

7. In the 11th week of the Program based on the Votes garnered by the Final Contestant through the Voting Mechanism in the preceding 10th week, out of the 8 (eight) Final Contestants up for voting , 2 (two ) Final Contestants getting the lowest Votes through the Voting Mechansim shall be eliminated from the Program on March 19,2017.

The remaining 6 (six)Final Contestants will be up for Voting and eligible to further participate in the subsequent episode(s) of the Program and/or be part of further competition in the Program for the subsequent 12th week only , in accordance with the format of the Program.
