Contractual Teacher Recruitment :
A walk-in-interview will be conducted for the empanelment of qualified teachers for appointment on contractual basis for the year 2017-18.
The interview will be conducted as per the schedule given below:
11.03.2017 Walk in Interview for PRT, Computer Instructor, PGT Computer Science, Coach, Yoga, Nurse & Counsellor Interview
11.03.2017 (F.N) (8.30am – 12.30 pm) PRT, Computer Instructor & PGT Computer Science (Written Test)
11.03.2017 (A.N) (1.30pm – 5 pm) Interview for PRT, Computer Instructor & PGT Computer Science (Only for the shortlisted candidates from the written test)
12.03.2017 (F.N) Walk in Interview for TGT (All subjects)
12.03.2017 (A.N) Walk in Interview for PGT (All subjects except for PGT Comp.Science)
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES :
STEP - 1
Check whether you are eligible for the post you are going to apply. Please see the required qualifications and other criteria.
STEP - 2
Download the application form and take a print out. Fill in all the details legibly and preferably in capital letters.
STEP - 3
Attach self - attested photocopies all the documents and testimonials including academic & professional qualifications and experience etc.
STEP - 4
Report to the venue on the date and time given in the advertisement. Bring filled in Application Form along with one set of photocopies of all documents and testimonials. Please bring all the original documents for verification. [Don’t attach any original documents with the form.]
STEP - 5
Get your application registered as soon as you report to the venue. After registration wait for your turn to attend the interview.
STEP - 6
A Written test will be conducted to short - list ed candidates for PRTs, Computer Instructor & PGT (Computer Science) to attend the interview.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :
** No TA/DA will be paid for this interview.
** Priority will be given to the eligible candidates as KVS recruitment policy.
** Relaxation in CTET – In the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered, if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.
** Inclusion of B.Ed qualification for PRTs allowed to appear in the absence of suitable candidates with DTEd for PRTs.
** Teachers engaged on contractual basis, would have no claim or right for appointment on regular basis nor will they be a part of the cadre of teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas.
** Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature of the applicant.
** Appointment on contractual basis is purely need based. The teacher will be relieved keeping in view the reduced needs or on the joining of regular teacher. Contract may be put to an end without any notice if the teacher’s performance is found unsatisfactory.
** Coaches in Games and Sports and Coaches in Yoga / Counselor / Nurse, the contract may be maximum up to January/ February.
Duties & Responsibilities of Contractual teachers :
Teachers appointed on Contractual basis will discharge the following duties
** Regular Classroom activity / Copy checking
** Invigilation duty / Evaluation work
** Helping students and colleagues in preparation and organizing of different curricular / Co-curricular activities in the Vidyalaya.
** All other works assigned by the Principal.
** Working hours will be the same as regular teachers’.
