Job Description
- The primary areas of responsibility within the lab would be to look after the following departments: Serology,Immunology, Clinical Microbiology & Molecular Biology (Infectious).
- The secondary areas of responsibility would be to assist Vice President - CRL in his duties
- Define, implement and monitor standards of performance and quality improvement of the departments under his purview
- Ensure test procedures are done properly (pre-, actual- and post-examination).
- Implement the quality management system as relevant to the laboratory sections under his charge.
- Participate in educational programs for the medical and laboratory staff and participate in educational programs of the institution.
- Update and review on a timed basis all SOPs and QA manuals relevant to departments under his care.
- Provide on job training on new SOPs & Equipment relevant to departments in his charge
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation of staff safety practices
