Vijaya Bank, under the auspices of the Vijaya Bank Cultural Club, sponsors an Annual State Level Inter High School Quiz Competition. The quiz is popularly known as the “Vijaya Bank V-GenUTH Quiz contest”. It is a popular quiz at the state level where a large number of schools participate and attractive prizes are offered to the participants. The quiz is conducted by Sri Giri Balasubramaniam, popularly known as “pickbrain” of Quizine.

Vijaya Bank V-GenUTH Quiz Contest in English on Sunday the 18th January, 2015.

As you are aware Vijaya Bank, under the auspices of the Vijaya Bank Cultural Club, sponsors an Annual State Level Inter High School Quiz Competition. The quiz is popularly known as the “Vijaya Bank V-GenUTH Quiz contest”. It is a popular quiz at the state level where a large number of schools participate and attractive prizes are offered to the participants. The quiz is conducted by Sri Giri Balasubramaniam, popularly known as “pickbrain” of Quizine.

We are happy to announce and invite the participation of your school to the 29th edition of the Annual Quiz Contest to be held on Sunday the 18th January, 2015. The rolling trophy instituted by our Bank in 1986 is presently held by the winners from Presidency School, RT Nagar, Bangalore and runners up trophy instituted by our Bank in 1997 is presently held by National Public School, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

While looking forward to your participation we request you to send us your entries so as to reach us on or before 13th January 2015.

TEAMS: Maximum of 4 students per school comprising of 2 teams of 2 students each studying in Class 8th to 10th .

ENTRIES: Entries as per proforma enclosed with the participants’ names, age and class in which the student is studying should be sent on the school’s letterhead duly signed by the Head of the Institution, affixing the seal thereof.

09.00 a.m. – Reporting of teams and registration
10.00 a.m. – Commencement of Preliminary round
11.00 a.m. – Commencement of Final round for eight teams
12.30 p.m. – Prize distribution

LAST DATE TO 13th January 2015. However, SPOT ENTRIES are also accepted

RULES:
1. Outstation teams should make their own arrangements for their travel and stay etc.
2. Quiz Master’s decision is final and no discussion/ correspondence will be entertained.
3. After the preliminary round eight teams will be selected to participate in the finals
4. Participants should bring their photo identity cards.

** Special Prizes for the Winners & Runners up team.
** Cash awards & Certificates to the winning team members and Rolling shield & Permanent Trophy to the concerned school.
** Cash awards and Certificates to the first runners up team members and Rolling shield & Trophy to the concerned school.

** Cash awards and Certificates to all the other five teams, which qualify for the final.
** Cash award and certificate to Best Out-Station Team members and Trophy to the concerned school.
