Job Description
The candidate would :
-Work in a team to create, support and develop Microfinance Insights into a world-class brand;
-Write, research, fact check and edit magazine articles for publication in print and online;
-Help develop media and marketing strategy for the magazine including conference outreach, event creation;
-Create new ideas for subscriber outreach and tracking;
-Develop and create a distribution plan for bi-monthly surveys and other research projects.

Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with 4 - 6 years of experience in Analytics, Creative Writing, research, fact checking and editing magazine articles for publication in print and online, developing media and marketing strategy for magazines including conference outreach, event creation, conceptualizing new ideas for subscriber outreach and creating a distribution plan.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills :
-Excellent written, verbal and graphical communication skills are required, as is leadership, creativity, maturity, drive, intellectual curiosity and the ability to be part of a team of professionals to handle multiple responsibilities on deadline;
-Must be adept at using the internet for research; knowledge of HTML, Corel Draw, InDesign are strongly preferred;
-The desire to do more fulfilling and meaningful work, with the passion to work in a small business, and with a demonstrated record of success in a rigorous academic program and relevant professional experience;
-Willingness to live and work in Mumbai, India, is mandatory;
-An interest in microfinance and development is useful
