Educational Qualification :
** Professor: Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma from approved Government Institutions or Universities in concerned subjects with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the concerned subject area in industry or academics. Experience in teaching is necessary.
** Assistant professor: Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma from approved Government Institutions or Universities in concerned subjects.
** Supporting Staff: Plus two (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in the fields of Direction, Editing, Cinematography, Animation and Visual effects, etc.

Application Fees :
** The candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.500/- by DD drawn in favour of K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Artspayable at Thiruvananthapuram.
** Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories are exempted from payment of fees.

Pay Scale :
** Professor: At a stage (commensurate with experience) in a pay scale equivalent to that of a Professor as per AICTE/UGC norms
** Associate professor: At a stage (commensurate with experience) in a pay scale equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor as per AICTE/UGC norms
** Supporting Staff: A consolidated monthly pay commensurate with experience.
