ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT – 2015 MBA (2 Year – Full Time)
This portal guides the applicant through the online submission of applications for Master of Business Administration programmes offered by the University.

Please follow the instructions given below in this page to successfully submit your candidature for Tezpur University MBA programme .

Make sure that you have downloaded and thoroughly went through the Tezpur University MBA Prospectus 2015, which will be available in the site once you login.

Eligibility :-
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (relaxation to reserved categories as per Govt. of India rules) from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institution. Students in final year of degree course and expecting results by 15th of November, 2015 may also apply.

How to apply:-
Register for CMAT (Sept.)/MAT (December, 2014) choosing the option of Tezpur University (TU).
Select non-IIM institute option when registering for CAT.
Submit Tezpur University application form separately, along with score card/proof of CAT/CMAT/MAT registration.
For Offline application, Tezpur University Application Form together with the Prospectus can be obtained from the designated branches of post ofiice at Dibrugarh HPO, Guwahati HPO, JorhatHPO, Tezpur HPO, SilcharHPO , Barpeta Road, Napaam-Tezpur University PO, by paying Rs. 710/-(for SC/ST Rs. 360)

Selection:-
Shortlisting on the basis of CAT/MAT ( Dec. 2014) and C MAT (Sept.) score .
Group discussion (GD) and
Personal Interview (PI) at Tezpur University.

Important Dates to Remember:-
Issue of T.U. Prospectus and Application Form: From 7th October, 2014
Submission of T.U. Form (without late fee): Up to 15th December, 2014
Submission of T.U. Form only for MAT Applicants (with late fee of Rs 200/-) : Up to 15th January, 2015.

ONLINE APPLICATION STARTS FROM -7TH OCTOBER TILL 15TH DECEMBER (UPTO 15TH JANUARY 2015 WITH LATE FINE)

Instructions for Filling up the Online Application Form
The candidate shall have to register for a Username and a Password to login. They are to complete the application process in 3 stages, and they are supposed to save the information entered during one stage and proceed to the next stage. The information thus saved is available on subsequent login. Finally, the candidate shall have to take a printout of the Application Form and Enter the Bank challan Journal Number(to be put by the bank on the challan after payment), attach relevant documents including the University copies of the challan counterfoils and send to the respective addressee.

Application Fee:
The candidates shall have to deposit a fee of Rs. 700/-(Seven hundred only) as the application fee in any branch of State Bank of India through a portal generated challan. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 350/-(three hundred fifty only). The Bank shall charge an additional fee for each transaction.

Last date and Addressee for sending the printout of the Application Form:

Applications must reach the Head of the Department of Business Administration,Tezpur University, Napaam,Tezpur-784028 within December 15, 2014 and Applications received after the last date shall not be considered. Incomplete applications and applications without the Challan counterfoil shall also be rejected.

However, those who are applying through MAT may submit the application upto January 2015, with a late fine of Rs. 200/-.

Abridged Steps:
Step 1 : Register and get your login id and password.
Step 2 : Start filling up the form in three stages. Save the information in each stage and proceed for the next stage.
Step 3 : On the last stage of step 3 press the “Final Submit” button. Be informed that you shall not be able to edit/modify/change any information provided after final submission.
Step 4 : On successful submission take printout of the Application form and the challan that is automatically generated by the portal.
Step 5 : Deposit the requisite fees at any branch of State Bank of India.
Step 6 : Enter the JOURNAL number given by the Bank on the challan in the relevant box that is available on the printed application form.
Step 7 : Review, match and verify the information that you have provided with the printed form.
Step 8 : Affix one recent passport size colour photograph on the space provided in the first page of the form.
Step 9: On satisfaction post the printout of the Form, and the relevant documents (Marksheet, DoB, Caste Certificate etc) including the University copy of the challan counterfoils to the concerned address. Make sure that the form reaches the addressee within the last date. Be informed that all private courier companies may not deliver documents at the University Campus. So, please be careful. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay.

For acknowledgment of your application you are supposed to receive a confirmation email and/or a SMS in the respective email id and mobile number provided.
