Entrance Exam Notice for VI & IX for the Session 2015-16
ADMISSION NOTICE FOR THE SESSION : 2015-2016
AIM AND OBJECTIVES :
(a) To prepare boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune.
(b) To develop qualities of body, mind and character which will enable the young boys of today to become good and useful citizens of tomorrow.
(c) To bring public school education within the reach of the common man.
(d) English medium CBSE affiliated school and Member of IPSC with emphasis on discipline, character building and patriotism.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP :
Approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- at the time of admission, out of which Rs. 3000/- caution money is refundable. The Central and State Govts provide liberal scholarship depending upon the academic performance of boy and parents annual income.

CLASS FOR ADMISSION AND AGE ELIGIBILITY :
Admission is applicable to the boys only. Boys born between 02 Jul 2004 and 01 Jul 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible for admission to Class VI and boys born between 02 July 2001 and 01 July 2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible for admission to Class IX Std. For admission to Class IX the boy should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school. Approximately 80 seats in VI Std. and 15 seats in IX Std. will be available. Actural Number of Seats can vary depending upon the number of Pass out and Withdrawal.

DATE OF EXAM :
All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam for all the above classes will be held on 04 January 2015 (Sunday).

RESERVATION IN SEATS :
15%, 7½% and 25% of the total seats are reserved for SC, ST and Defence (including Ex-Servicemen) categories respectively.

HOW TO OBTAIN PROSPECTUS :
The prospectus cum application forms for admission at Sainik School Kunjpura may be obtained from the Principal Sainik School Kunjpura, Karnal (Haryana) - 132023 w.e.f. 15 Oct 2014 to 29 Nov 2014 on all working days between 1000-1300 hrs by paying cash Rs. 400/- for General and Defence categories and Rs. 250/- for SC and ST categories. The prospectus may also be obtained by post by sending an application on plain paper by mentioning address and category along with a DD of Rs. 450/- for General and Defence categories and Rs. 300/- for SC and ST categories, drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura, payable at SBI Kunjpura (Code No. 2400).

Application form can be downloaded from school's website www.sskunjpura.org. duly filled application form can be submitted by post or in person along with a DD in favour of Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura, payable at SBI Kunjpura (Code No. 2400) of Rs. 400/- (for General and Defence categories) and Rs. 250/- (for SC and ST categories). Other documents are to be submitted as mentioned in prospectus.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM :
Duly completed application to reach Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura, Karnal (Haryana) - 132 023 by 1300 hrs on 06 Dec 2014 positively. Application will not be received after due date through any means. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no communication to this effect will be made to the parent. The School will not be responsible for rejection of the application on account of postal delay.
