DECLARATION OF RESULT OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION QUALIFYING CANDIDATES FOR APPEARING IN PHYSICAL ENDURANCE TEST FOR THE POST OF WARDER (MALE), UNDER POST CODE 37/13 IN THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL PRISONS, GNCT OF DELHI.

DSSSB conducted combined examination for recruitment to the post of Warder (Male) under post code 37/13 on 02.03.2014 Based on performance of the candidates in written examination, as per list attached, total 1062 candidates (UR-542, CBC-284, 86-158 and ST-78) have been qualified provisionally and eligible to be called for the Physical Endurance Test, subject to their fulfilling all conditions of eligibility and also correctness of the information furnished by the candidates in the OARS (ONE LINE APPLICATION REGISTRATION SYSTEM).

Reserved category candidates (OBC/SC/ST) candidates were shortlisted for appearing PET on the basis of details provided by them in OARS. At this stage on the basis of information filled up by candidate regarding their SC/ST Delhi and also other state have been considered for reservation benefit however thig selection is purely provisionai and SC/ST (other State) will be considered as per applicable law at the time of final selection and subject to any clarification from Government or any other court of law.

Since documents have not been called from the candidates along with application, as such detail scrutiny regarding their eligibility has not been carried out and therefore mere inclusion of name in the list for qualifying the candidates for appearing in the Physical Endurance Test does not entitle the candidate the right over the post.

The candidates short-listed for appearing PET is purely provisional subject to the verification of credentials, for determination of eligibility for the posts to be carried out by the Board after completion of PET. There is no reserved post in respect of EXS/Vl category requisition of User Department.

Aforesaid above, reserved category candidates short-listed in UR category in written examination who obtained marks above or equal to the last qualified UR candidate have been declared qualified for appearing in Physical Endurance Test against UR vacancies and their final selection to the post shall be considered in UR category subject to availability of vacancies, otherwise in their respective category if eligible otherwise for selection in the said category

The number of qualified candidates for appearing in Physical Endurance Test has been done in the ratio 1:2 of the advertised vacancies with taking all the candidates who have scored marks equal to cut-off marks for each category for short listing even if it results in increasing the candidate‘s ratio 112‘ Final selection against advertised vacancies shall be—made in accordance with the merit list drawn as per result of written examination subject to availability of vacancies and the candidates qualifying the Physical Endurance test and also fulfilling of all conditions of eligibility as prescribed by the RR's and term and conditions of advertisement.

Candidates whose roll numbers are indicated in the result notice will be called for Physical Endurance Test separately.

While every care has been taken in preparing the result, DSSSB reserves the right to rectify errors and omissions if any detected at any stage.
