Ph. D. in Management :
Admission to the Doctoral Program in Management at the Alliance School of Business, Alliance University is strictly based on merit.

Eligibility :
** Master’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized University in a management-related discipline
** A minimum of two years full-time work experience
** A high score in GMAT/CAT or Alliance Aptitude Test (AAT)

Selection criteria : Candidates are required to appear for the Admission Selection Process comprised of:
** Alliance Aptitude Test (AAT)
** Personal Interview
** Evaluation of the research synopsis on a proposed dissertation work
The School also uses other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record and work experience for admission. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Admission Selection Process.

Bridge Courses :
Students not having an MBA Degree or equivalent degree are required to attend courses as follows to enable to attend the coursework of the Doctoral Program.
These classes are offered for the regular MBA program at the Alliance School of Business and completing the course with a CGPA of 2.5 is essential to pursue the Doctoral Program.

The Courses are as follows:
** Corporate Finance
** Financial Reporting
** Leadership and OB
** Marketing Management
** Operations Management
** Management of Innovation and Technology

Course Fees: Each student registering for the above courses will have to pay a Tuition Fees of Rs. 20,000 per course in advance. Other fees like repeat of the course, in case of failures and re-totaling will be as per the MBA Handbook.

Round 1: Regular Application Round – November 15, 2014.
1. The Regular Application Round enables applicants to apply early for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) in Management course offered by the Alliance School of Business.
2. As seats are limited, the announcements of the further application rounds are not assured.
3. Applicants with a GMAT score above 600 or a valid JRF score will be given preference over other applicants.
4. Such applicants are provided with an opportunity to choose a doctoral guide who suitably matches with their interests and skill sets.
The Ph. D. in Management course at Alliance School of Business, Alliance University commences in January, 2015.

How to Apply :
i) The Application Form and Prospectus for the Doctoral Program in Management can be obtained from the Office of Admissions on payment of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees three thousand only) in cash or through demand draft drawn in favor of "ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY" payable at Bangalore.

ii) Applicants are requested to submit their filled in Application forms along with attested copies of the following documents:
** Standard X marks card
** Standard XII marks card
** Bachelor's degree marks cards
** Postgraduate degree/diploma marks cards
** Work experience certificate
** Entrance exam score card
** Research Synopsis
