Age Limit:
1 Sl. No. 1,2,6,7,8 & 9 : As per ICAR norms, the candidate must not have attained the age of 47 years as on closing date.

Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
1. Programme Coordinator :
Essential: Doctoral degree in Agricultural disciplines with 8 years experience in the relevant field as Scientist/ Assistant Professor/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 5400/ Rs. 6000/ Rs. 7000/ Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations. Desirable: Experience in implementing Agricultural Extension Programmes.

2. Subject Matter Specialist(SMS)/T6 :
Animal Husbandry & Vet. Science : *Master’s degree in Animal Husbandry & Vet. Sc.
Soil Science :
*Master’s degree in Soil Science.
*The candidates should have Master’s degree in the relevant discipline as mentioned above with a minimum of 60% marks.
(1) Where Grade Point System is followed, the percentage should be calculated by dividing grade points earned by the candidate with the total grade point allotted for the course and multiplied by 100 (i.e., in a 10 point scale, 6 grade point will be equal to 60%).
(2) Candidates having Master’s degree from reputed Foreign University will be given weightage.
(3) Master’s degree from Foreign University should be with research or course work or both.

3. Senior Research Officer : Doctorate degree in subject concerned or related discipline, 8 years Teaching/ Research/ Extension/ Industry (R&D) experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent. Research papers published in NAAS rated/ reputed journals will be treated as evidence of research work.

4. Junior Research Officer : Doctorate degree in subject concerned or Master’s degree in concerned subject with at least 55% makes or equivalent. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s level for the SC/ ST/ Differently – abled (Physically and visually differently abled) candidates. For the candidates having Master’s degree, NET shall remain compulsory. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D degree with course work along with at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4.
