Instructions to the Candidates for B.Ed/M.Ed Programmes :
With reference to your application for admission into the B.Ed/M.Ed Programme of Dr B.R.Ambedkar Open University, you are informed to attend the admission counselling at your own expenses on the date mentioned above in the Conference Hall, Academic Building, Road No.46, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad – 500 033 (A.P.) failing which your seat will be cancelled.

It may be noted that mere calling for Counselling will not automatically entitle you for a seat in the programme (candidates are called in 1:3 ratio). The admission is subject to availability of the seat in a programme centre. The candidate should satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down in the notification and prospectus. The admissions are subject to the rules of the Government, NCTE and the University.

Candidate must submit the following documents in ORIGINAL at the time of Counselling.
1. Hall Ticket
2. Rank Card
3. Transfer Certificate
4. Migration Certificate
5.Service Certificate counter signed by MEO
Candidate have to show the following documents in ORIGINAL at the time of Counselling.
6. Study Certificate from IX to Degree.
7. Integrated Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
8. Degree Certificate and Degree Marks statements for B.Ed candidates & Degree Certificate,Degree Marks statements,B.Ed Certificate and B.Ed Marks statements for M.Ed candidates.
9. SSC / Proof of Date of Birth.
10. Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates)
Candidate have to submit the following documents at the time of Counselling
11. Five Recent Passport size Photographs
12. A set of Xerox copies of all the above certificates (i.e Sl. No. 1 to 10).
Candidates who fail to submit that above Certificates (SlNo.1 to 10) will not be considered for counselling.
A Demand Draft issued by any nationalized Bank Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) for B.Ed candidates and Rs.35,000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand only) for M.Ed candidates drawn in favour of The Registrar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University payable at Hyderabad has to be submitted by candidates offered provisional admission.
If it is found that the admission is on false grounds or suppression of facts, the admission will be cancelled at any time during the course and the candidate is liable for criminal prosecution. If selected, the programme centre will be allotted at the discretion of the Director (SS), giving due consideration to the choice of the candidate as far as possible. University is not responsible for postal delay.

Note : All the Qualified Candidates in the Entrance Test are called for Counselling for admission into B.Ed(SE) Programmes.
