Natural Capital Olympiad :
With this in mind, Saevus and YES BANK, supported by the Central Board of Secondary Education, is proud to present the Natural Capital Olympiad. This Olympiad is about science, geography, general knowledge, mental ability and a whole lot of green fun and challenge.

Put your nature quotient to the test - Think, Assimilate and Logically reason as you attempt each round of this Olympiad.

Olympiad Participation Requirements
School Prerequisites
Board: CBSE, IB, IGCSE and all State Boards
Medium: Hindi/English
Minimum Participation:10 students from each school

Student Prerequisites
eligibility: Classes III to X of a school registered for the Olympiad

Olympiad Format :
School Round To Be Held At The School
Format: Multiple Choice Questions (Mcqs)
No. Of Questions: 40
Marking Scheme: 50 Marks (No Negative Marking)
Time: 60 Minutes.
Participation: All Registered Students.

Regional Round - To Be Held at the Allocated Regional Center
Format: Interactive Sessions
Time: 60 Minutes.
Participation: All Qualifiers From School Round
All Travel Costs For Students Qualifying For The Regional Round Are To Be Borne By The Participants.

National Event :
All National winners and Special Awardees of the Olympiad will be felicitated at this Award Ceremony.
All travel costs for students qualifying for the National Round are to be borne by the participants.

Application Procedure :
School Registration :

Student Registration :
Students are required to contact their respective school authorities to register
Registration Fee: INR 100
Reference Material (optional): INR 100

Process for Schools :
1. Schools to submit filled school registration form to generate their unique participation id
2. The school to spread awareness about the Natural Capital Olympiad and attract registrations.
3. Post the last date of student registration, school is requested to submit the following:
Class wise list of Student registrations with fee collected.
Cheque for Student Registration fee collected, after deducting 15% of the total amount, as school administrative expenses.
Cheque for Reference Material fee collected, after deducting 10% of the total amount, as school administrative expenses.
4. Schools to download Student Roll Numbers and digital Admit Cards from the Olympiad website. Only students with valid admit cards will be allowed to take the Olympiad.
5. School Round will be conducted at the respective School Premise. Schools are responsible to ensure the Olympiad being conducted through a fair and time-bound process as per the Olympiad guidelines set forth by the organisers.
6. After the completion of School Round, filled Student OMR sheets are to be submitted to Saevus not later than 27th November, 2014.

Terms and Conditions :
These terms and conditions, together with the terms and conditions that are specific to any Competition (as defined below) (the 'Competition Terms') are known as the 'Rules'. Words used in the Competition Terms shall have the same meaning when used here. In the event of any conflict between the Competition Terms and the Standard Terms, the Competition Terms shall prevail.

The Rules apply to any competition (the 'Competition') that is promoted on the Natural Capital Olympiad website ( naturalcapitalolympiad.com) by or on behalf of Saevus Wildlife India LLP, 253, 2nd Floor, Powai Plaza, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (400076) and by entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by the Rules.

Saevus Wildlife India LLP reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Competition and/or the Rules without notice for any event that is outside of Saevus Wildlife India LLP reasonable control. Any changes to the Rules, or cancellation of the Competition, will be posted on the Natural Capital Olympiad website (naturalcapitalolympiad.com). It is the responsibility of entrants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the Rules by visiting the website regularly for updates.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the conduct or results of the Competition, or any other matter relating to a Competition, the decision of Saevus Wildlife India LLP shall be final and unchallengeable and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into, comment issued, or reason given in respect of any decision made by Saevus Wildlife India LLP.
