Job Description
This position would be responsible for streamlining the record scrutiny, certification, and archiving for the periods as specified in the CAR (Civil Aviation Requirements) and company’s MOE (Maintenance Organization Exposition) to meet the regulatory requirements of the company. In addition this position holder would also be responsible for preparing and distributing technical circulars to internal and external customers of IGGA for contracted aircraft maintenance and related equipments.

Desired Candidate Profile
Responsible for:
- Preparing and providing the rotable removal forecast for each check to Manager – Maintenance Planning & Technical Services.
- Compilations of aircraft daily maintenance activities and updating records as required.
- Ensuring that the appropriate aircrafts are able to meet the commercial activities/requirements of the company and regulatory authorities in terms of maintenance activities.
- Establishing a control of revision of maintenance data and its subscription.
- Maintaining the following records of the Hawker & Beechcraft aircrafts in coordination with approved AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Plan) /Manufacturer / Regulatory Requirements being maintained and serviced by the company in compliance with the contract/agreement with the customer at his request:
- Total time in service for the aircraft, engines and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)
- Current status of life limited parts.
- Time since last overhaul for each hard time limited item installed on the aircraft.
- Current scheduled maintenance program status of the aircraft including the times since last scheduled check for each type of check.
- Current status of applicable Airworthiness Directives, including the method of compliance.
- A list of current major alterations for each aircraft and its equipment.
- All the records necessary to show that all requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) have been met.

- Maintaining Record Retention requirements for all airplanes, engines, components and appliances of Hawker & Beechcraft Products as per the regulatory requirements of the manufacturers and company.
- Issuance of shift order and work order as laid down by the guidelines of the department/company/regulatory authorities.
- Preparing a work package for each line check for contracted aircraft and provide to Line Maintenance Manager (Manager – Hawker Aircraft Maintenance and/or Manager – Turboprop Aircraft Maintenance) for compliance.
- Control and timely implementation of revision of all technical Publications of the engineering and maintenance department.
- Establishing systems that enables all reference books to be located throughout the company.
- Recording man-hours expended on scheduled and unscheduled tasks and establishing accurate man-hour projections against all aircrafts checks based on in-house activity.
- Maintaining computerized work-card control system, defect control system, issuance of all aircraft maintenance schedules as approved by Manager – Quality for all tasks including non-routine work.
- Checking and validation of hours/cycles recorded on the aircraft technical log.
- Collection of work order after completion of task and ensuring that all task are completed.
- Ensuring that incomplete task are bought to the notice of Manger – Quality and Manager – Maintenance Planning & Technical Services for inclusion in the next work package
- Ensuring Letters of Transmittal are issued and that a record of the returns of same are maintained.
- Organizing daily troubleshooting and monitoring deferred defects and recurring defects as required.
- Current with relevant CAR procedures, airworthiness requirements and be familiar with aircraft maintenance skills and techniques
- Issuance of monthly technical documents revision status list and on technical library to all departments.
- Securing appropriate books and manuals at the request of the Planning & Technical Services Manager.
- Ensuring Technical Library is current and updated at all times.
