Steps For Linking Aadhaar Number With Students Bank Account Details :
Steps with respect to linking of Aadhaar Number with the Bank Accounts of Students for the transfer of Scholarship/funds under Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) Scheme
1. Kindly approach to nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Agency (if not Enrolled for Aadhaar) for the Enrolment process.
2. Visit any Bank to open Bank Account
3. Once Aadhaar Number is available to you, kindly visit the Bank, where you have your Bank Account.
4. Submit your Aadhaar copy along with copy of passbook to the Bank for linking.
5. Once, the linking is confirmed from the Bank. Visit Student Web portal of NIELIT for the submission of Bank Account Details and Aadaar Number.
a. Login into the Student Web Portal of NIELIT
b. Click on the Button “Aadhaar & Bank Account Details” available on the right side of the Dash Board.
c. Furnish all the details on the “Aadhaar & Bank Account Details Form” and upload the documents desired for availing scholarship.
d. Logout from the portal
