Applications are invited for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the research project entitled‘Assessing the participation of Women in Science & Technology within University system in 6 states of Northern India’ funded by Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India.

Positions: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of post : 02 posts
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 yrs on date of submission
Emoluments: 14000 pm fixed + 15 % HRA
Duration: The positions are for two years / co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Nature of Duties: Extensive travelling &survey work (socio-economic survey) in six different difficult states, data synthesis, report work, organization of meetings/workshops etc.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: First class Masters degree in Sciences/ Management/Economics/Statistics or equivalent
Desirable: Proficiency in computers, designing of statistical models & experience in socioeconomic survey.
