Applications are invited by Project Director, Goa State AIDS Control Society, Panaji for the following posts purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year.

1 Name of the post : Medical Officer Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART)
Pay : (Rs.36000/-) Consolidated

Qualifications and Experience : Essentially be an MBBS trained by NACO at one of the NACO designated training centres

2 Name of the post : Counsellor Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART)
Pay : (Rs.13,000/-) Consolidated

Essential Qualification & Experience:
1) Masters degree in Social work (preferably specialized in medical & psychiatric social work/psychology). OR
2) candidates with degree in sociology may be considered OR
3) A qualified graduate nurse can be appointed as counselor but he/she must undergo 12 days counselor training at NACO designated institute.
NOTE : Qualified and competent PLHIV will be given preference

3 Name of the post : Staff Nurse Anti Retroviral Therapy (ART)

Qualifications and Experience :
i) B.Sc.in Nursing or certificate in Nursing/Midwifery from recognized institution.
ii) Registration certificate as Registered Nurse/Midwife from State Nursing Council. Knowledge of local language

4 Name of the post : Counselor Integrated Counselling & Testing Centre (ICTC)

Essential Qualification & Experience:
Post Graduate degree/diploma in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing;with minimum 1 year experience after PG degree/diploma, of working in field of counseling in health sector; preferably in HIV/AIDS. OR
Graduate in Psychology/ Social Work/ Sociology/Anthropology/ Human Development/Nursing;with a minimum of 3 years of experience after graduation, of working in field of counseling in health sector; preferably in HIV/AIDS.
In case of community of people infected with or affected with HIV/ AIDS, graduates from any field or those with a diploma in Nursing may be considered if they have a minimum of one year of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS.
Desirable: Working knowledge of computers & local language

5 Name of the post : Lab. Technician for Integrated Counselling & Testing Centre ICTC/Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission (PPTCT)/Blood Bank, State Reference Centre (SRC)

Essential Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc); with minimum 1 year experience after graduation OR
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); with minimum 2 year experience after diploma.
Other expertise required: Working knowledge of computer and local language

Upper age limit : not more than 61 years at the time of submitting the application.
Note : Knowledge of Konkani is essential for all the above posts.
