Requisite Qualification:
1 Assistant Engineer (Elec.) : Should possess/ acquire BE of a recognized University/ Institute or AMIE (India) qualification in a) Electrical b) Computer Science c) Information Science d) Information Technology e) Electronics & tele communications f) Electronics & Communication Engineering.
2 Assistant Engineer (Civil) : Should have a degree in civil Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent qualification or pass in AMIE section A&B (civil)
3 Assistant Accounts Officer : Should be a M.Com Graduate of a recognized University or pass in ICWA/MBA(Finance)
Note:
i. Candidates possessing qualification in disciplines/ branches other than what is specified above need not apply.
ii. The percentage of marks obtained in all the years if the Exams are held on annual basis, if the same is on semester basis, the percentage of marks obtained in all the semesters will be considered.
iii. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination but whose results are not declared before the last date fixed for receiving applications, need not apply.
iv. Should have basic functional knowledge of computers.
v. Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.

Eligibility: Candidates who have obtained minimum percentage of marks as prescribed below in respective qualifying examinations only are eligible to apply for the above posts.
(a) For applicants belonging to General Merit Category-60%
(b) For applicants belonging to Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB-50%
(c) For applicants belonging to SC/ST- Pass Class

Selection: Recruitment to these posts shall be made purely on the basis of the marks secured in the Aptitude Test, duly following reservation policy of Government of Karnataka.

Age: The candidates should have attained the age of 18 Years as on the last date fixed for receipt of application and shall not be more than;
i. 35 Years in case of General Merit candidates.
ii. 38 Years in case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB Candidates.
iii. 40 Years in case of SC/ST and Category I candidates.

Application Fee: The application fees prescribed for applying to the said posts is as follows:
i. Rs. 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand Only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category I, IIA,IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
ii. Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

How to Apply :
i.Applications should be submitted strictly “ONLINE” by logging on to CESC website cescmysore.org. Applications will not be accepted by any other mode.
ii. The candidates should fill up the e-mail ID and mobile number in the application since, future correspondence with them will be over e-mail (or SMS if necessary).
iii. The website will be kept open for submitting online applications from 09th September 2014, The last date for submission of application is 09th October 2014 upto 17.00 hours (5.00 p.m.)
iv. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances.
v. Payment should be made by DDs obtained from Nationalised Banks only. DD should be drawn in favour of General Manager (A&HR), CESC, Mysore payable at Mysore.
vi. Fees paid once shall not be refunded under any circumstances or adjusted towards future recruitments.
vii. After submitting the application ONLINE the candidates should obtain the print-outs of acknowledgment and scanned copy of Demand Draft and produce as when called by the CESC, Mysore.
viii. Candidates should submit the application well in advance without waiting for the last date prescribed for submission
