Two posts of Sr. Dy. Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) in the scale of Rs. 32,900-58,000/- in the rank of Dy. Head of Department are lying vacant w.e.f. 15th October, 2013. The posts will be filled up by deputation of officers holding analogous post or officers holding post of Dy. Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and equivalent Specialist post in the scale of pay of Rs. 24,900-50,500/- in Medical Department in Government/ PSUs or Autonomous Bodies with 3 years’ regular service in the grade.

Educational and other qualifications required:
Essential:
i) MBBS Degree from a recognized University.
ii) A Post Graduate Medical Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (Medical Stream) in the specified speciality from a recognized University.
iii) Post qualification, experience of 9 years (11 years in case of Post Graduate Diploma holder) in a Hospital in the relevant field of specialization.
The selection is by merit for which the overall grading in the confidential reports should not be below “Very Good.”

Responsibility and authority of the post:
i) Work related to the candidate’s own medical field of speciality.
ii) Hospital Administration including establishment, procurement, manpower related matters etc.

Chief Medical Officer (Specialist), may apply through proper channel as per Proforma enclosed (Annexure-II) along with the following documents so as to reach the undersigned on or before 30th September, 2014
i) Photo copy of APARs of the applicant for the last 5 years duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD on each page.
ii) Attested photo copy of all certificates.
iii) No objection certificate of respective Port (Annexure-III).
iv) Undertaking of the applicant not to withdraw, if selected.
v) Vigilance/Administrative Clearance of the concerned Port.
vi) Two passport size photographs.
