Job Description
The candidate needs to work in Architectural design development – as a team member, working mainly on 2D drawings in ACAD. At times on presentation drawings – basic knowledge of PHOTOSHOP shall be added advantage;
Also the candidate shall work on detailing and working drawing as per stages – where along with Architecture, one needs to understand the input from our external consultants ( structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc.) – and do the basic coordination.
Also to make basic diagrams at times to facilitate the calculation of quantities etc -

The candidate also will be exposed to site visits.

Desired Candidate Profile
B.Arch from any recognized institute.
Fresher / 1- 2 year experience in professional field.

The candidate got to have proper orientation to quality and prestigious works – i.e aspiration for learning and presenting quality job. The office still aims for limited number of works with extremely detailed drawings and detailing.
The candidate should have clear concept of 3-dimension, and reasonably good communication skills. As he/she will be interacting with not only the team members in the office , but also with our external consultants, contractors and at times even with clients and clients’ representatives.

Company Profile
Mr. Sumit Maity is B.Arch – Gold medalist from Calcutta University ( 1991). He had worked with ‘Raj Rewal Associates’ and ‘Stein Doshi Bhalla (D)’ before he started his practice with Architect wife Shalini Maity in 1998-99.

M/S Sumit Maity Architects won National open Architectural competition for DDA mega housing at Vasant Kunj – 3000 DUs on 25 hactare site.
Also they won a two stage competition open to all SAARC countries – for ‘Bharat Vandana Prangan’, an urban park on a 400 acre site at Dwarka, New Delhi.

Currently the office is working on
- one heavy factory at Prithla, Haryana
- One major state Guest house at Chanakyapuri
- One Engineering college campus on a 5 acre site at Kurukshetra ( phase 1)
- One Housing project of approx 1250 units on a 8.2 hectare site at vasant kunj.
- One Hotel with 215 rooms and suites at Growth centre, bawal, haryana.
