LOAN SCHOLARSHIP PRORGRAMME – 2014 :
Popular Front of India is a neo-social movement aiming the empowerment of the Nation through total empowerment of Muslims and other marginalized classes. It targets mainly Muslim community and holds fast broad based alliance with all other marginalized sections of the society. It strives for basic social change. Popular Front emphasizes on service to humanity and has chalked out various programmes for community development. Loan scholarship programme for higher education is one of them.

Objective of the programme :
The objective of the programme is to provide opportunities for the academically meritorious and financially needy students to pursue Degree or Diploma Courses or other higher studies after 12th. The programme supports them to become competent professionals with dedication and commitment to the development of the community and the country. Students pursuing postgraduate courses are also eligible. Weightage is given to Law and Journalism courses and to the children of Imams as a targeted initiative.

Nature of the programme :
The scholarship is an interest-free loan to the students. Recipients are therefore required to refund the scholarship in easy installments when they join a job or after two years from the completion of their course, whichever is earlier. This is necessary because the scholarship is a grant to the community to be recycled for further benefit to maximum number of needy students.

Eligibility :
The scholarship is open to students who are meritorious but financially needy and have passed (10+2) examination and are desirous to pursue Degree, Diploma Courses or other higher studies whose course duration is not less than a year. The monthly income of the applicant’s family should be below rupees 8000.

How and where to submit the application :
You can apply online on popularfrontindia.org/ or send a written application (Form attached below) to Popular Front of India head quarters at Delhi. Completed application can also be e-mailed to popularfrontscholarship@gmail.com. Students already availing this scholarship should also apply for renewal

Selection process :
Final selection will be done after a screening and personal interview conducted in a convenient location in your state

1. Copy of address proof document
2. Copy of the 12th examination mark sheet and certificate
3. Copy of other qualifying examination mark list, if any
4. Copy of admission letter
5. Two passport size photographs (35mm x 35mm)

Documents to be produced during interview – Renewals
1 Course certificate from the institution
2 Mark list of the previous year
3 Two passport size photographs (35mm x 35mm)
