- Online by downloading from the website www.apdmcmp.com OR www.saimsonline.com (Candidates who wish to apply for more than one course should submit Demand Draft for Rs. 2500/- for each course along with filled in Application Form).
- Demand Draft to be made in the name of "APDMC" payable at Bhopal.
- Filled up Application Form has to be submitted to DMAT Office, E-2/51, Arera Colony, Opp. Habibganj Railway Station, Near Niramay Hospital, BHOPAL (M.P.) - 462016

TIPS ON CRACKING CAT 2014

Common Admission Test commonly known as CAT is a computer based test in India held for admissions into IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) and other B-schools. The exams are conducted on a rotational basis by all IIMs. Each year approx. 2 lakh students register for CAT.



This year the registration window opens from August 6 to September 30, 2014. The test will be held on November 16 and November 22 over 354 centers. A lot of students are preparing for these exams for almost a year while there are also some who have started their preparation just recently. In any case, a lot of students are on a continuous lookout for new tips and strategies on how to effectively manage their time with studies and work. Here are a few tips, have a read.



For section I Quantitative Ability: Target areas in which you are strong first. Don’t get stuck on a topic and avoid wasting too much time on one question, if it’s not solving move on to others and save your time from getting wasted.



For section II Vocabulary and English: Attempt vocab questions first, these are the question that take less time and are often solved under a minute, then follow on with reading comprehension, logical and verbal reasoning. Read all the questions so as not to miss something easy and scoring, it might happen that questions along with a tough RC are easy.



Managing your time with work: A lot of participants of CAT are people who are working side by side, for such people managing work with preparation can be quite troublesome, in such cases they must make full use of their weekends and also study for a couple hours to keep things moving smoothly and the flow alive.



Use vocab cards: There are a lot of question on vocabulary which are very scoring as they don’t take much time to solve, either you know the answers or you don’t. Managing a stack of vocab cards will help expand your vocabulary. Just read it every day and in no time you will learn these.
