The IDA (World Bank) Assisted Centrally sponsored ICDS Systems Strengthening and Nutrition Improvement Project (ISSNIP) in the State of A.P. envisage establishment of a State Project Management Unit (SPMU) at the State Level. SPMU invites applications from the eligible persons with required qualifications as per the Terms of References (ToRs) for the following positions

Name of Position : Consultant (Monitoring & Evaluation)

Remuneration per month : Rs.60,000/-
Qualifications, Experience and Skills :
Essential:
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Economics/Demography/Anthropology/Development Planning/Social Work
(ii) At least 5 years of progressive experience of monitoring and evaluation in public health/nutrition or any large social sector programmes. (For PhD applicants, 2 years of doctoral time may be counted as experience).
(iii) In-depth knowledge of M & E techniques and methodologies including knowledge of conducting operations research, household surveys and qualitative assessments
(iv) Experience of developing MIS tools and facilitating M&E trainings
(v) Experience of working with the government/development partners in the areas of M & E/decentralized planning will be an added advantage
(vi) Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to converse in local language; and
(vii) Good computer skills (knowledge of excel, powerpoint etc)
Desirable: Ability to work effectively in a team, interact persuasively with a range of stakeholders, and travel extensively.

Qualification and Experiences :
1) Post graduate degree in Engineering/Science/Accounting with training in Procurement and Supply Chain Management;
2) At least 3 years’ experience in procurement planning and management in State/Private Sector/International Organization;
3) Thorough knowledge of administrative system and procedures of state government;
4) Exposure to procurement guidelines of the World Bank;
5) Strong computer skills, especially in the use of MS Word, Power Point and Excel;
6) Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Language

Name of Position : Consultant (Financial Management)

Remuneration per month : Rs.60,000/-
Qualification and Experiences :
i) Retired Officer from the State Finance/Treasury/Audit Services/AG with experience in budgeting, audit and treasury functions;
ii) Knowledge of State budgetary, treasury and finance rules;
iii) Familiar with the use of MS Office especially Excel, Word etc.

Qualification and Experiences :
i) Post Graduate degree in Commerce/Accounting or C.A/ ICWA (Intermediate level) pass./
ii) At least 3 years’ experience in accounting in State/Private Sector/International Organization with exposure to budgeting, audit and treasury controls;
iii) Knowledge of administrative system and procedures of State government;
iv) Strong computer skills, especially in the use of MS Word, Power Point and Excel;
v) Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Language.
