Medical Council of India has approved intake of 100 MBBS students for the academic year 2014-15. The following backlog posts of reserved category candidates (of Haryana) are proposed to be filled up by way of direct recruitment on Regular/ Tenure/ Contract basis

1 Name of the post : Professor
Essential Qualifications :
i) A basic University qualification included in the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
ii) M.D /M.S or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the concerned subject.
Experience : As Reader / Associate Professor in speciality concerned for four years in a recognized medical college
Desirable : Minimum of four Researchpublications indexed in Index Medicus / national journal andone research publication in International Journal.
Pay Scale : 37400-67000 + 10000 GP + other allowances as permissible.

2 Name of the post : Associate Professor
Essential Qualifications :
i) A basic University qualification included in the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
ii) M.D /M.S or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the concerned subject.
Experience : As Assistant Professor / Lecturer in the subject concerned for five years in the MCI recognized medical college.
Desirable : Minimum of two research publications accepted / published in indexed / National journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale : 37400-67000 + 8700 GP + other allowances as permissible.

3 Name of the post : Assistant Professor
Essential Qualifications :
i) A basic University qualification included in the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
ii) M.D /M.S or equivalent post-graduate qualification recognized by Medical Council of India in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale : 15600-39100 + 6600 GP + other allowances as permissible.

4 Name of the post : Senior Resident (Tenure Basis)
Essential Qualifications : Post Graduation / Three years experience of residency in the concerned subject from MCI recognized institute.
Pay Scale : 18600-20100 + 6000GP + allowances (MD/MS) , 17440-18440 + 5400GP + allowances (Diploma)

5 Name of the post : Demonstrator (Tenure Basis)
Essential Qualifications :
i) MBBS from any Institution / University recognized by the MCI.
ii) Must be registered under the State / Central Medical Registration Act.
Preference will be given to a Postgraduate candidate.
In the subject of Anatomy, Physiology,Biochemistry,PathologyPharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) qualification in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.
Pay Scale : 18600-20100 + 6000GP + allowances(MD) 17440-18440 + 5400GP + allowances (Non PG)

6 Name of the post : Junior Resident (Contractual)
Essential Qualifications :
i) MBBS from any Institution / University recognized by the MCI.
ii) Must be registered under the State / Central Medical Registration Act.
Pay Scale : 15600-39100 + 5400GP + allowances
