1. MBBS from any Institution/University recognized by the MCI.
2. MD Medicine for Medical Super-specialty branches /MS General Surgery for Surgical super-specialty branches. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualifications are not available, the candidates having diploma in the subject concerned or training experience of more than 3 years as PG student in the subject will be considered for appointment
3. Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act. Those students, who are doing MD/MS Course in the specialty concerned, on selection as Sr. Resident, will have to discontinue their MD/MS Degree course before joining as Senior Resident.
4.Candidate having D.M./ M.Ch. /DNB Super-specialty in the specialty concerned will be preferred.
