    SADAREM :
    Objective of the SADAREM initiative is to create a Dynamic Web enable system for comprehensive access, rehabilitation and the empowerment, by automation, capacity building, assessment of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and maintaining Decision of Support System ( DSS ) Scientific assessment of degree of the disability is done on the basis of methods and Card.degree of the disability is done on the basis of methods and Card.

    Electronic System to Access Person with Disability’s Rehabilitation Services :
    ** Persons with disabilities (PWDs) will apply online for his functional needs to department (of any schemes implemented for persons with disability by a line departments / NGOs wherever possible).
    ** If the PWD is already assed through SADAREM software, he will just enter his 17 digit SADAREM Id, based on the Id system populates all his demographic details and PWD only enters his functional needs in the portal. For all new PWDs, they need to enter all demographic plus functional needs in the portal.
    ** PWD will have the provision to select the required services from the drop down.
    ** On successful registration, System generates a unique registration number which can be used by the applicant/PWD to check the status of his application on the portal at any time.
    ** If the application received manually from the applicant, the service provider will enter the application on the portal on behalf of the PWD and inform the applicant the registration number of the application.
    ** All the applications registered in the portal are routed to the respective Department official’s workflow (based on the service selected by the PWD while registration) for further processing.
    ** The service provider/department officer will get it verified through their field functionary designated by them. Before going for verification, field functionary will inform the date of verification and requirements to the applicant/PWD well in advance.
    ** During the verification the field functionary will collect the required/prescribed documents from the applicant/PWD.
    ** The field functionary will recommend online to the next level. In addition to online recommendation, he will record the recommendations and upload the necessary supporting documents in the portal and hand over the hard copy with relevant documents to the next level as prescribed.
    ** All the approved applications are visible to the service providers for providing the necessary services.
    ** The service provider shall give sanction/provide service online. If it is manual the details will be uploaded to the portal.
    ** Once the PWD application is accepted/approved by service provider, Portal will give sanctions as per the seniority following all the eligibility conditions, preferences, reservations as prescribed by the service provider.
    ** The software will generate necessary documents like note orders, sanction proceedings, list of beneficiaries, intimation letter to the individual and other depending on the service as prescribed.
    ** The software will also send on line information to the PWD about the sanction of the service through sms/email and where such facility cannot be accessed by the PWDs, it will be sent through post or intimate directly by concern department.
    ** After disbursement of the necessary appliances/services to the PWD, the service provider updates the date and other details in the portal against the PWD.
    ** Provision will be given to service provider to update/record the Post service follow up actions/evaluations wherever required.
    ** The software will generate reports and analyses as asked by the service providers for monitoring and evaluation.
