Knitting Rural Self Help Enterprises (KRuSHE) :
KRuSHE wing under SERP has been incepted to promote enterpreneurship in Farm and Non-farm livelihoods among the members of rural SHG households with focus on POP on saturation basis and to engage each household in an entrepreneurial activity for drought proofing the rural households.

For restoring the traditional art and crafts of Telangana, KRuSHE is an attempting to link numerous artisans, craftsmen and rural producers of the state to remunerative markets, The objective is that the artisan gets the correct worth for her produce and there is a substantial increase in the income, The flourishing artisan should inspire the others in the region to take up the same occupation.

Approach :
KRuSHE envisages integrated approach of building infrastructure, linking markets and providing credit, technology(environment friendly), skills, design and institutional development to the rural household.

Objective :
** To increase the profitability of the existing SHG enterprises there by creating local employment and ensure the sustainability of the enterprises
** To promote entrepreneurship in Farm and Nonfarm livelihoods among the members of rural SHG households with focus on POP on saturation basis.
** To increase the income and employment opportunities in the villages.

About Self Help Enterprises :
According to the enterprises (Enterprises which are involved in Processing/value addition and related activities) census conducted during December 2010,around 30,000 enterprises exist in Telangana and provide livelihood to around 1.3 Lakh individuals. The entrepreneures have developed market linkage with local and district level retail and wholesalers to sell their products. They have also developed liks with raw material suppliers for their products. To increase the profitability and enhance the scope of their businesses these entrepreneurs or artisans should be provided support in terms of exposure to bigger markets, diversified products,designs,building their capacities - to manage orders,manage their enterprises effectively, and also be able to manage their working capital requirement. For better outcomes all these services should be available to the entrepreneurs or artisans on demand basis

** To design and conduct training programmes and undertake projects in the field of Enterprise Promotion, Rural Development, Technology Transfer and imparting Human Resource Development (HRD) concepts.
** To act as advisory for policy makers relating to Enterprise Promotion and Rural Development (for Government /NGOs / Other Organizations / Financial Institutions / Corporate Entities / Central Secretariat, RUDSETI).
