Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the office of the Dean of Research and Development, IIT Kanpur on purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on requirement.

A. Posts: Project Manager
No. of post : (03)
Consolidated Salary Structure: 20000-2000-40000.(Higher start with may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experience candidates)
Minimum Qualifications: First class post graduate degree + 8 years relevant experience Or Graduate with 20 years relevant experience Or (CA/ICWA/CS) + 2 years relevant experience of supervisory work in a Govt. office or in educational Institute or in business organization of repute. Good academic records will be preferred. (Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English)
Desirable Experience: Candidates should have leadership qualities and requisite experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Auditing and Financial procedures, OR Administrative matters including Legal, Recruitment, Establishment, OR Project Management, agreements, Intellectual property rights, Contracts & MoUs relevant to research etc. Practical experience of using relevant software’s in related areas is essential.

B. Posts: Deputy Project Manager

Consolidated Salary Structure: 16000-1600-32000. (Higher start with may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experience candidates)
Minimum Qualifications: CA/CS/ICWA OR, Post Graduate degree (M.B.A/M.Com/M.Sc/MCA/M.A/LLM) + 5 years relevant experience OR, Graduate (B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BA/BCA/LLB) + 10 years relevant experience.(Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English).

Consolidated Salary Structure: 11000-1100- 22000. (Higher start with may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates).
Minimum Qualifications: 1st Class Master’s Degree with Good academic record.
Desirable Experience:
(i) one years experience in at least of the following areas; Accounts, Establishment, Legal, Purchase & Import, Hospitality and Project Management.
(ii) Computer literacy and ability to work independently will be preferred.

D. Post: Project Assistant

Consolidated Salary Structure: 9000- 900-18000. (Higher start with may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates).
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate Degree at least 55% / Master’s Degree with Good academic record.
Desirable Experience:
(i) one years experience in at least of the following areas: Accounts, Establishment, Legal, Purchase & Import, Hospitality and Project Management.
(ii) Computer literacy and ability to work independently will be preferred.
