NURSING ENTRANCE TEST 2014 (GNET-2014)
FOR ADMISSION IN
B.Sc. NURSING COURSE (4 YEARS)
(SESSION 2014-15)

Course: B.Sc. Nursing
Duration: Four Years
Total Seats : 35

Age : The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Minimum Educational Qualification :
a) Candidates should have passed 10+2 class with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks for General category and 40% marks for Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
b) Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School will also be eligible provided they secure aggregate of 45% marks for General category and 40% marks for SC candidates. However he/she shall not be eligible for admission, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks prior to the first round of Counseling. He/she will be allowed to attend first counseling only if detailed marks certificate of the above said examination is submitted prior to or at the time of first counseling, failing which he/she will be declared ineligible for admission year 2014 and his/her application will be rejected.
iv) Admission to B.Sc. Nursing course will be strictly on the basis of rank/merit obtained in Government Medical College & Hospital Nursing Entrance Test 2014 (GNET-2014)
v) Candidate shall be medically fit.

How to Apply :
i) Candidate has to fill application form online available at GMCH website.

ii) Candidate has to fill only one online application form. No additional form is to be filled after declaration of GNET-2014 result.

iii) Before applying candidates are advised to go through the admission notice and the instructions carefully, published in the newspaper/brochure and then fill in the online application form.

iv) Category of reservation should be entered in the prescribed column of the online application form.

v) No addition of category of reservation will be allowed once form has been submitted.

vi) Printout of submitted online application accompanied by self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents as below must be submitted either personally or reach by registered post by 14.08.2014, 4.00 pm;
a) Date of birth certificate.
b) 10th passing certificate.
c) Passing certificate of 10+2 examination.
d) Detail marks sheet of 10+2 examination.
e) Reserved category certificate issued by the competent authority.
f) Character certificate.
g) Demand draft for prescribed application fee of Rs.500/- for General Category and Rs.250/- for reserved category in the name of Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector- 32, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.
h) The printout of the submitted online application form alongwith annexures in a sealed envelope, with top of the envelope clearly labeled “APPLICATION FOR B.Sc. NURSING COURSE” must be submitted either personally or reach by registered post by 14.08.2014, 4.00 pm at following address
