eSalary:
The eSalary SW is used to process monthly salary of all employees of the HP Government (1.96 Lakh) in 51 IPAOs (selected treasuries) and disburse the salary directly through banks (ECS) into the accounts of individual employees. The employees can access their salary details online for information and income tax purposes. The 4450 plus DDOs have web-based access to the SW for making monthly changes into their employees’ salaries. All salary bill data is electronically ported into the HPOLTIS. Data is generated for the eNPS SW for transferring to NSDL. The AG Deductions part is made available to HP AG office in electronic format.

From Financial Year (2013-2014) eSalary of 49 IPAOs has been centralised covering 98 Treasuries/Sub treasuries except Kaza and Pangi. The DDOs having Internet Connectivity can access eSalary Application from their offices. All are requested to take login and password from their respective IPAOs.

Centralized System (Guidelines):
** Switching over to Centralized system From April,2013.
** All IPAOS/DDOs are requested to Check the Data before verification of Bills.
** Salary heads to be checked.
** One user with one role (DDOs may get user from respective IPAOs).
** Scale should be mapped with employee as per designation.
** eSalary Code should be unique.
** Available Data of employees is based on salary processed in March,2013 by respective IPAOs.
** Prior to March,2013, the data will be available with respective IPAO.
** IPAOs should intimate in case employees are not available in the system.

Step-2 : Enter full new Employee Code eg. IP01-99999
Step-3 : Enter few characters of your name in Employee Name
Step-4 : Select your treasury and
Step-5 : Click on "Login" button.

Instructions : -
** This service is available to employees under 98 treasuries of Himachal Pradesh [Except Kaza and Pangi].
** Salary processed and verfied through Centralised eSalary software.
** All fields are mandatory. Data is Available from March,2013 onward.
** Best View at 800X600px in IE 6.0+ explorer . Popup should be enabled/allowed.

** Employees of HP Government can view their Salary and GPF information
** Employees must have their eSalary IP Code and GPF PIN
** One time account setting, stores previous information
